We are seeking a diligent and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Job Description:
As a Housekeeping Supervisor at Lakewood Camping Resort, you will be a key figure in ensuring the cleanliness and overall guest experience meet or exceed our guests’ expectations. You will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of the housekeeping staff, ensuring rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead, train, and mentor housekeeping staff, fostering a productive and motivated team.
- Daily Operations: Coordinate daily cleaning operations, including bath houses, offices, Information Center, Trading Post and all other public areas as needed
- Quality Assurance: Inspect bath houses, and public areas to ensure they meet the established cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Inventory Management: Maintain stock of cleaning supplies
- Scheduling: Develop and manage housekeeping staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and efficient operations.
- Guest Satisfaction: Respond to guest requests and complaints promptly and professionally, taking corrective actions as necessary.
- Reporting: Prepare reports on housekeeping activities and housekeeping expenses.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies and take appropriate actions to maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Other: May be asked to perform other duties in other departments as assigned by supervisor/manager.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management is a plus).
- Proven experience in housekeeping or a related field, with at least five (5) years in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and quality standards.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in using housekeeping management software and systems.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the hospitality industry.
