Janitorial/Housekeeping
Qualifications for all positions include the ability to work as a team member within this department AND all other departments, reliable transportation, valid driver’s license with good record, working outdoors in all kinds of weather conditions, walking, sitting or standing for extended periods of time, including pushing, pulling, climbing, bending, or lifting up to 50 pounds. Some positions may require lifting more than 50 pounds. While an individual may be assigned to this role, situations may arise which would REQUIRE assistance in other areas or departments.
Expectations of the Job:
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions in a professional and timely manner
- Perform general duties as assigned by supervisor
- Positively communicate with all guests as well as co-workers.
- One must have a positive attitude and be able to maintain confidentiality of Company business
- Able to work weekends, holidays or overtime as deemed necessary by supervisor
- Must also be able to carry or use various tools such as backpack blower, pressure washer, etc.
- May be asked to perform other duties in other departments as assigned by supervisor or manager
Duties and Responsibilities Include:
Cleaning bathrooms and check supplies in the following locations:
- Trading Post
- Coffee House
- Information Center
- Conference Center
- Indoor Pool
- Arcade
- Security
- Properties Office
Front Office Cleaning Duties:
- Clean bathrooms
- Vacuum rugs
- Sweep
- Dust and mop front office area
- Clean windows, sweep the outside porch and wipe down outside chairs
Bathhouse Cleaning Duties:
- Check toilet tissue and hand soap and supply as needed
- Clean soap dishes in showers, showers, and shower walls
- Clean benches, sinks, mirrors, toilets, and urinals.
- Clean walls and dividers between toilets
- Wipe down tops of mirrors
- Sweep and mop floors
- Take out trash and replace plastic bags
- Sweep walkways outside of bathhouses
- Check for and clear any cobwebs
- Clean out center floor drains and power wash or hose out bathhouses as deemed necessary by supervisor.
