BOO-k Your Spooktacular Getaway Today! 

Thursday:

1 p.m. Create a Halloween T-Shirt ($) – Info Center

Create a spook-tacular Halloween t-shirt using bleach. Space is limited, so be sure to sign-up with the Information Center before 3 p.m. each Thursday. 📱Register by phone at 843-447-7343. This activity is $12. (All shirt sizes may not be available.)

7:30 p.m. Marshmallow Mingle – Perry Island

Join us as we come together for a Marshmallow Mingle. The event will be held on Perry Island and will feature Music and S’mores. Bring a chair and relax on our beautiful island. This event is free. However, Smore Kits are available for $4 (cash only). Guests are welcome to bring their own s’mores supplies!

(This activity will not be offered on October 10th due to a private event.)

Friday:

11 a.m. Kids Craft: Color a Halloween T-Shirt ($) – Info Center 

Boyz and Ghouls ages 12 and under are invited to color a fun Halloween T-shirt! Space is limited for this activity, so please sign up before 8 p.m. Thursday.📱Call the Information Center at 843-447-7343 to register by phone! Payment is due at time of registration. This activity costs $12 per person. (All shirt sizes may not be available.)

Tie dye a fun Halloween shirt using fabric spray paint! This activity costs $15. (All shirt sizes may not be available.)

2:30 p.m. – Halloween Crafts ($) – Info Center

Every Friday, join us inside the Info Center for a spooktacular craft! These crafts will vary by week, but will all combine creativity with a touch of eerie excitement! Cost per activity varies by week. Continue to check the Lakewood Camping Resort App for updates for each week’s exciting creation!

5:30 p.m. – Marion’s Magic Pumpkin Patch – Front Lawn

Sow seeds of faith and love at Marion’s Magical Pumpkin Patch! Watch in wonder as your little ones return Saturday morning to discover if their seeds have blossomed into magical pumpkins.

7:30 p.m. Hayrides – Pick-Up at Sand & Surf Stage

Hop on our tractor-driven hay wagon for a whirl around the resort! The rides will be available from 7:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. each Friday.

7:00 p.m. & 9:00 p.m. – “Ghoul Vibrations” Halloween Musical Revue – Lakewood’s Theater by the Sea:

Get ready for spine-tingling entertainment in Lakewood Camping Resort’s oceanfront Amphitheater!

“Ghoul Vibrations,” our live Halloween musical revue, kicks off every Friday night at 7:00 p.m. & 9 p.m. This family-friendly extravaganza is packed with high-energy performances and thrilling surprises that’ll send shivers down your spine.

8 p.m. Frights & Sights Campsite Tour/Yard Decorating Contest

Get ready for a frightfully fun time during Hall-O-Wood’s “Frights & Sights Campsite Tour”! Every Friday and Saturday night in October, guests are invited to walk through or cruise through the campground on golf carts to admire and judge the spookiest, most creative Halloween-decorated sites.🦇 From eerie haunted houses to glowing jack-o’-lantern displays, each campsite offers a unique and chilling experience. Grab your friends and enjoy a night of Halloween thrills as you decide who deserves the title of the most spine-tingling site!

8:30 p.m. Boo by the Bay Haunted Trail ($) – Buccaneer Island

Hall-O-Wood’s Boo by the Bay Haunted Trail on Buccaneer Island is a hair-raising experience that’s perfect for teens and tweens. These sights & frights are open to guests every Friday and Saturday night through the month of October. The frights begin at 8:30pm and the last victim will walk the trail at 10pm. Admission is $5 per person. Children under 3 are free. (Please note, this experience may not be suitable for our younger guests.)

9:00 a.m. Pancakes with Pirates ($) – Info Center

AHOY! New for Hall-O-Wood 2024, our mateys are invited to join us for Pancakes with Pirates every Saturday morning through the month of October. For only $12.99 per adult and $10.99 per child (12 and under), you can feast on all-you-can-eat pancakes served with a side of pirate fun. There’ll be swashbuckling games, face painting, and hidden treasure waiting to be discovered. Don’t miss out—make your reservations by 8 p.m. on Friday night for a morning of delicious adventure!📱Call the Information Center at 843-447-7343 to register by phone. 9:30 a.m. Marion’s Magical Pumpkin Patch Harvest – Front Lawn

After planting seeds of faith and love on Friday night, guests are invited to return to Marion’s Magical Pumpkin Patch to witness the miraculous overnight growth of their pumpkins! (Please note, this is a continuation of Friday’s event.)

10:30 a.m. Pumpkin Decorating Contest – Info Center

Get ready to unleash your creativity in our Pumpkin Decorating Contest! 🎨✨ Whether you prefer painting, carving, or embellishing, this is your chance to transform a plain pumpkin into a masterpiece.

11:00 a.m. The Great Pumpkin Baking Championship – Info Center

Get ready to showcase your culinary skills in our Pumpkin Baking Championship! 🍰🥧 This exciting event is your chance to create delicious pumpkin treats and compete for the title of Pumpkin Baking Champion. Visit the Lakewood Camping Resort App for a full list of contest rules!

1 p.m. Pet Costume Contest – Outdoor Pool

Hall-O-Wood fun isn’t just limited to humans! Your pets have a chance to show off in our Pet Costume Contest! 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Place prizes will be awarded. Sign-up in the Information Center before 12 p.m. each Saturday.

We are thrilled to see what you come up with for this year’s Costume Contest! Every Saturday afternoon, guests will get a chance to wow a panel of judges over their spook-tacular costumes and themes!

1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes will be awarded in the following age divisions/categories:

All costumes must be family friendly.

Any costume deemed inappropriate will not be allowed in the contest.

5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Trick-or-Treating

This childhood tradition continues at Lakewood every weekend through the month of October. To hand out treats to the kids, YOU MUST register  on the Lakewood Camping Resort App no later than 4 p.m. Saturday. A list of participating sites will be available on the Lakewood App each week beginning at 5 p.m. Guests can also request a paper copy of the site list at the Information Center.

7:00 p.m. Hall-O-Wood Golf Cart Parade & Decorating Contest – Ocean BOO-levard

Get ready for a frightfully fun time during the Halloween Golf Car Parade! A fleet of golf carts transformed into spooky spectacles will creep down Ocean BOO-levard decked out in their Halloween best. These parade of fright-filled creations is sure to entertain you every Saturday night!

Interested in competing? Register your golf cart in the Information Center no later than 5 p.m. Saturday. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
