Are you ready to take the stage and be part of a Myrtle Beach tradition? High Steppin’ Country, the longest-running live show on the Grand Strand, is holding auditions for its upcoming summer season! This is your chance to showcase your talent and be a part of Myrtle Beach entertainment history!
Audition Details:
Date & Time: 10:00 a.m. at the Lakewood Camping Resort Information Center
Location: Lakewood Camping Resort, Myrtle Beach, SC

Audition Requirements:
Vocalists – Prepare two songs: one ballad and one upbeat selection. No a cappella auditions.
Dancers – Prepare a one-minute routine. Tracks with vocals are acceptable.
All performers must provide their own music.
Since 1976, High Steppin’ Country has been a staple of summer entertainment in Myrtle Beach, bringing together incredible talent and lively performances in Lakewood Camping Resort’s Theater By The Sea – the only outdoor, oceanfront amphitheater on the Grand Strand. Each season, the show kicks off with a fresh, high-energy opening segment, complementing its mix of country, gospel, and patriotic medleys.
Did you know? High Steppin’ Country has been the launching pad for many successful careers, including country superstar Josh Turner! Past HSC cast members have gone on to Broadway, television, and film.
Produced by Karla Mauldin and Rhonda Perry, and featuring choreography by Abigail Perry and musical direction by Kraig McBroom, High Steppin’ Country continues to uphold a legacy of outstanding performances.
