We’re proud to announce that for the second consecutive year, Lakewood Camping Resort was voted Best in the Grand Strand in the campground category of the WMBF News contest!
We would like to thank all of our loyal guests who took the time to nominate & vote for Lakewood over the last two months. Lakewood appreciates your support and recognition as we continue to improve the guest experience at the resort.
More than 148,000 votes were cast in the 2022 competition, according to WMBF News.
The contest, which is held every year, allows the community to first nominate local businesses in dozens of categories. Those nominations are narrowed down for the community to vote for the finalists in each category.
