Campsite Upgrades are Happening at Lakewood Camping Resort!
At Lakewood Camping Resort, we take guest feedback to heart. Year after year, one of the most requested upgrades in our guest surveys has been paved sites. Last year, we were able to add 18 paved sites and we’re thrilled to announce that in 2025, we’re delivering even more for guests to enjoy!
This year, we’re adding over 80 brand-new paved sites, offering an improved camping experience with smoother parking and setup, as well as less sand and dirt around your campsite.
As a family-owned business for over 65 years, Lakewood Camping Resort has always evolved to meet the needs of our guests. These new paved sites are just the latest example of how we’re working to enhance your experience and create even more reasons to love staying with us.
Guests visiting us this season will notice these upgrades in the following areas:
Block 1 South Area: Sites 1501–1515, 1601, 1701–1714, 1801, 1802, 1901–1915, 2201, 2202, 2301–2315
Block 2 South: Sites 1011–1019
Crater Lake: Sites 2856–2867
Whether you’re a returning guest or visiting for the first time, we can’t wait for you to enjoy the benefits of these updated sites.
Less time backing in means more sand between your toes! The paved sites not only make setting up your camper easier but also elevate your overall comfort. Plus, they’re perfect for enjoying activities like sitting around the fire pit, playing outdoor games, or simply soaking in the beautiful Myrtle Beach sunshine!
