Discover gifts your loved ones are sure to treasure during Lakewood Camping Resort’s Fall Craft Fair! Browse one-of-a-kind accessories, home décor, embroidered items, artwork, custom woodwork, homewares, crafts, specialty foods, baked goods, handmade jewelry and even presents for your four-legged family members. Admission to the Fall Craft Fair is FREE & open to the public! The Fall Craft Fair runs from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. both Friday, November 22 & Saturday, November 23, along Lakewood’s oceanfront & inside the Information Center.
Gather at Lakewood Camping Resort for your Thanksgiving vacay! All Lakewood Camping Resort guests are invited to join Lakewood Campground Ministry for the Annual Thanksgiving Feast, Thursday, November 28th.
Lunch will be served inside a banquet tent located in the Outdoor Pool Parking Lot.
While we will supply the main dishes & drinks, guests are asked to bring a dessert to share.
There will be two seating windows available, 12 p.m. & 1 p.m. Guests are encouraged to RSVP to one of the two timeframes on the Lakewood Camping Resort App.
Santa is visiting Lakewood this holiday season! He will treat our young guests to free ice cream on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at 1 p.m. during Ice Cream with Santa at the Trading Post. Pro Tip: This also serves as a great photo op for those keepsake Christmas cards!
Your fur babies also have a chance to visit with Santa this year! On Saturday, November 30th at 3 p.m., bring your pets to Perry Island for photos with Santa! 🐕😻 Admission for this event comes in the form of donations! Please bring a can of dog or cat food. These items will be donated to All 4 Paws Animal Rescue.
Please, no reptiles. All animals must be leashed.
Lakewood Campground Ministry will be spreading holiday cheer throughout the resort this Christmas season!

The holiday season is aglow at Lakewood Camping Resort!
As Myrtle Beach’s Original Camping Resort celebrates the season, we invite the community to join us for our Annual Tree Lighting on Saturday, December 7th at 5:30 p.m. at the resort’s scenic Perry Island.
Light up the holiday season with this special Lakewood tradition complete with live music, warm hot chocolate, and a special visit from Santa Claus!
Guests will have the opportunity to pose for a photo with Santa.
Entertainment will be provided by the Myrtle Beach High School Show Choir, the Myrtle Beach High School Saxophone Quartet, and Colton Sherman and Sarabella Carter from High Steppin’ Country & Ghoul Vibrations.
The excitement builds to the grand moment when our 16-foot tree is illuminated with sparkling festive lights.
This unforgettable event is FREE and open to the public!
Guests are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets to ensure a cozy and memorable evening!

Get ready for a night of holiday mischief and fun! Join us for a special showing of How the Grinch Stole Christmas on Friday, December 13 at 6 p.m. inside the Info Center. Enjoy snacks and a visit from the Grinch himself! Bring your family and friends for an evening filled with laughter and holiday cheer.
New in 2023, kids ages 12 and under are invited to enjoy, “Cookies with Mrs. Claus,” on Saturday, December 14th at 11 a.m. in the Information Center. Kids will experience decorating delicious cookies and meeting Mrs. Claus herself!
This event is free for children, making it a perfect way to celebrate the season. Don’t miss out on this magical morning filled with treats and holiday cheer!

Get into the holiday spirit as you finish up your last-minute holiday shopping during our Trading Post Holiday Open House. It’s Christmas shopping with a side of holiday cheer! Enjoy holiday punch, light snacks, live music, door prizes, door buster sales and more.
This shopping event is from 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Calling all amateur bakers! 🍰✨ Join us for a delicious competition celebrating the spirit of the holidays. Whether you specialize in candy, cakes, pies, or other sweet treats, this is your chance to showcase your skills.
All aboard the Polar Express! This holiday movie favorite will come to life inside the Information Center on Friday, December 20th at 6:30 p.m.! Kids, wear your pajamas as we embark on this magical experience filled with crafts, cookies, and hot chocolate! As the night goes on, gather around to watch the animated movie filled with adventure, friendship, and the magic of believing in Santa Claus.
On Christmas Eve all guests are invited to join us in celebrating the true meaning of this joyous Christmas season. Lakewood Campground Ministry will host a Christmas Eve Service on Tuesday, December 24 at 4:30 p.m. inside the Information Center.
This New Year’s Eve event is the perfect way for families to ring in the new year together! Our Noon Year’s Eve Celebration takes place in the Information Center from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. on New Year’s Eve. We will have snacks, party favors, a DJ and dancing all leading up to a special countdown at noon.
End 2024 with a splash during our annual New Year’s Eve Plunge! Brave guests will take the plunge into the ocean at 2 p.m.
Please consider a donation of $5 and two non-perishable food items to participate in the event! All donations benefit Backpack Buddies. These items may be brought to the Sand N Surf Stage during check-in from 1:30 p.m. – 1:45 p.m. No prior registration is required.
