What is check-in time?

Check-in starts at 3:00 PM

Those wishing to start their vacation early, can purchase Early Check-In to cruise to their site between noon & 3 p.m.

 

Can I check in after hours?

You can check-in with security after hours up until 1:00 AM

 

What is the check-out time?

Check-out time is 11:00 AM. Campers must check-out by 11:00 AM or an additional night stay will be charged to the guest.

 

When does the Outdoor Pool, Waterpark, and other Amenities close for the season?

The Outdoor Pool and Water Park will close nearing the end of November, weather permitting. The Indoor Pool stays open year-round.  Seasonal operational hours for amenities may vary. Please download the Lakewood Camping Resort App for the latest updates.

 

Can I stay after 11:00 AM to utilize the amenities and beach on my departure date?

In order to gain entry to each amenity attraction, guests must be properly wearing their wristband for attendant to scan. Wristbands are no longer valid after 11:00 AM on guest departure date. Please check with the front desk to see if there is availability to purchase another day on your site to enjoy the amenities and beach longer.

 

What is the cancellation policy for campsites?

All cancellation policies subject to change.

 

Is my site guaranteed?

ALL reservations are guaranteed by block location ONLY. Specific sites numbers are ONLY guaranteed if you purchased our Site Lock add-on at $2.50 per night.
Specific sites, shade, door facing ocean and other special request will be noted.
Make your reservation for the entire length of your stay; renewal of your campsite cannot be guaranteed.

 

Will my camper face the ocean if I have an oceanfront site?

Our odd numbered oceanfront sites will allow your doors to face the ocean.

 

Can I pull through on a back in site?

Guest are to back onto their campsites. Please do not pull thru campsites. Guest are not permitted to park their camping unit sideways or pull forward onto campsites. Guests are required to park their camping unit on designated site base area where the water and sewer connections are located. Guest are not permitted to park their camping unit on area designated for picnic table. Guests who violate the camping unit parking instructions will be responsible for any related campsite repairs. In the event their camping unit becomes inoperable due to parking incorrectly on soft grounds, fees for towing will be the guest responsibility.

 

Do you have any pull thru sites?

Yes, most sites on the 1300 row and a few sites on the 7000 row are pull thru sites.

 

Can I have a fire on site?

Campfires are permitted with adult supervision on campsites ONLY; Campfires are not allowed on the beach. Do not leave your campfire unattended. Please safely extinguish campfire after each use. All guests are responsible for cleaning up their campfire debris before check-out.

 

Can I bring my own fire pit?

Yes, you can bring your own fire pit, though a fire pit is not needed.

 

Can I bring my motorcycle?

Motorcycles are permitted throughout the year on the twenty (20) designated entrance sites ONLY. Otherwise, Lakewood has a gated designated motorcycle area located at security for motorcycles to be parked. Motorcycles are also allowed during specifically noted Motorcycle rally (please see calendar of events for Rally dates).
