What is check-in time?

Check-in starts at 4 p.m.

 

Can I check in after hours?

You can check-in with security after hours up until 1 a.m.

 

What is the check-out time?

Check-out time is 10 a.m. Campers must check-out by 10 a.m. or an additional night stay will be charged to the guest.

 

Can I stay after 10 a.m. to utilize the amenities and beach on my departure date?

In order to gain entry to each amenity attraction, guest must be properly wearing their wristband for attendant to scan. Wristbands are no longer valid after 10 a.m. on guest departure date. Please check with the front desk to see if there is availability to purchase another day on your site to enjoy the amenities and beach longer.

 

What is the cancellation policy for campsites?

All cancellations 14 days or more prior to arrival date will incur a $25 cancellation fee.
All cancellations less than 14 days prior to arrival date will incur a $50 cancellation fee.
No refunds for early departure, no shows, or changing to a lesser priced accommodation after arrival.
Campers must check-out by 10 a.m. or an additional night stay will be charged to the guest.
Camping is an outdoor experience; therefore, we are not responsible nor do we give refunds or credits due to the discomforts of nature.

 

What are the wristbands for?

Lakewood’s new innovative wristbands allow you to do it all! “Play” at any of our amenity attractions by simply scanning your band at the entrance to the desired attraction. “Pay” for food or drink items at any of our onsite food and beverage stores or purchase items at the Trading Post with the safety and convenience of scanning your band.

 

How can I load funds on my wristbands?

You can load money on to your wristband from your mobile phone, tablet, or computer, by logging into the MyLakewoodExperience Guest Portal; or by visiting any of our GREEN Play & Pay Kiosks located at the Lakewood Front Desk, Trading Post, Information Center, Coffee House and Sandcastle Creamery.

 

What happens to my wristbands at the end of my vacation?

Wristbands are deactivated and invalid upon departure. Guests are advised to deplete the funds on wristbands prior to departure. Aggregate balances remaining of more than $5.00 will be refunded within 30 days to credit card charged.

 

How can I check the balance on my wristbands?
You can check the balance of all of your wristbands at anytime from your mobile phone, tablet, or computer, by logging into the MyLakewoodExperience Guest Portal; or by visiting any of our GREEN Play & Pay Kiosks located throughout the Resort.

 

Do I need wristbands for everyone in my party?

Yes, everyone in your party must wear a wristband. All Guest entering any available amenities and attractions must check in with the attendant on duty before using the facility. In order to gain entry, guest must be properly wearing their wristband for attendant to scan. Please verify you receive the correct number of wristbands for your registered guests during guest registration. No additional wristbands will be issued after guest registration is complete.

 

Do I need funds on my wristband for the amenities?

No, Lakewood Camping Resort’s rates are all inclusive, so all the resort amenities are offered at no additional cost.

 

Do I need to turn in the wristbands upon my departure?
No, the wristbands do not need to be returned. Wristbands are souvenirs for our guests to keep.

 

Is my site guaranteed?

ALL reservations are guaranteed by block location ONLY. Specific sites numbers are never guaranteed.
Specific sites, shade, door facing ocean and other special request will be noted.
Make your reservation for the entire length of your stay; renewal of your campsite cannot be guaranteed.

 

Will my camper face the ocean if I have an oceanfront site?

Half of our ocean front sites are door facing the ocean and the other half are door not facing the ocean. There is a possibility to be placed on an oceanfront site that does not face the ocean. Door facing the ocean is not guaranteed.

 

Can I pull through on a back in site?

Guest are to back onto their campsites. Please do not pull thru campsites. Guest are not permitted to park their camping unit sideways or pull forward onto campsites. Guests are required to park their camping unit on designated site base area where the water and sewer connections are located. Guest are not permitted to park their camping unit on area designated for picnic table. Guests who violate the camping unit parking instructions will be responsible for any related campsite repairs. In the event their camping unit becomes inoperable due to parking incorrectly on soft grounds, fees for towing will be the guest responsibility.

 

Do you have any pull thru sites?

Yes, most sites on the 1300 row and a few sites on the 7000 row are pull thru sites.

 

Can I have a fire on site?

Campfires are permitted with adult supervision on campsites ONLY; Campfires are not allowed on the beach. Do not leave your campfire unattended. Please safely extinguish campfire after each use. All guests are responsible for cleaning up their campfire debris before check-out.

 

Can I bring my own fire pit?

Yes, you can bring your own fire pit, though a fire pit is not needed.

 

Can I bring my motorcycle?

Motorcycles are permitted throughout the year on the twenty (20) designated entrance sites ONLY. Otherwise, Lakewood has a gated designated motorcycle area located at security for motorcycles to be parked. Motorcycles are also allowed during specifically noted Motorcycle rally (please see calendar of events for Rally dates).
