Myrtle Beach Entertainment

It’s hard to get bored when you’re in Myrtle Beach, since there are countless entertainment options. Lakewood Campground puts on their signature show called High Steppin’ Country. We also have several pools with water slides and miniature golf available. If you’re looking for a thrill outside the grounds of Lakewood, you will find that Myrtle Beach has many adrenalin-pumping experiences to offer.

Amusement Rides and Waterparks
Family Kingdom is Myrtle Beach’s one amusement park, although you will also find carnival style rides located at Broadway at the Beach, as well. Both of these venues have rides for kids(and adults) of all ages! Family Kingdom is also the parent company of Splashes Oceanfront Water Park, which provides a thrill at the same time as providing a scenic beach landscape. And, since we’re on the subject of water parks, Myrtle Beach is also the home of Myrtle Waves and Wild Water and Wheels, which is located just slightly south of Lakewood.

Along the Myrtle Beach Strip you will also find the SkyWheel, which is the area’s largest ferris wheel, as well as Myrtle Beach’s famous Sling Shot ride. Or, if you have the need for speed, visit Broadway Grand Prix which boasts 7 go-kart tracks, rock climbing, tot rides, and more!

Interactive and Shows
There’s always a show in Myrtle Beach! Whether you visit Medieval Times Joust and Tournament, Pirates Voyage, Legends in Concert, Alabama Theater, the Carolina Opry, or the House of Blues, you won’t be disappointed.

Looking to do something a bit more interactive? Take a tour through beautiful Brookgreen Gardens or pedal a boat through Murrells Inlet on the East Coast BrewBoat, both located on the south end of town. Like wine…who deosn’t?! Sample a wine tasting at Duplin’s Winery or spend a relaxing evening at one of the many area’s wine and design type venues.

If you’re already headed to Broadway at the Beach for the shopping and dining, try visiting Wonderworks, Backstage Escape Games & Mirror Maze, or the Hollywood Wax Museum. Myrtle Beach is also home to Ripley’s Believe it or Not and Ripleys’s Aquarium.

Miscellaneous
If you’re looking to relax a bit, try strolling one of the areas breathtaking beaches, Myrtle Beach Boardwalk, or the Murrells Inlet Marshwalk. If you’re looking for something to get your blood pumping, chart a ropes course at Go Ape or cling to the back of a jet ski or banana boat as you glide through the ocean or Intracoastal Waterway. If you’re amazed by reptiles, you may have fun at Alligator Adventure. If you’re looking for something fun and low-key, pop into one of the areas arcades for an old-fashioned, good time!
