Whether you’re an amateur or a pro, the Grand Strand has a golf course for every level! Thanks to it being the area with the most golf courses, per-capita, Myrtle Beach has been named the Golf Capital of the World! There is a wide variety of driving ranges and Myrtle Beach golf courses ranging from miniature golf courses, par 3’s, and executive level golf courses.

If you are looking for miniature golf, you don’t even need to leaves the grounds since Lakewood hosts it’s own 18-hole miniature golf course. However, if you’re looking to venture outside of the campground a bit, you will find that scattered from the north end to the south end, you can barely go a mile without passing a miniature golf course. Some of the more popular ones on the north end are Mt. Atlanticus, Captain Hook’s, Lost Treasure, Cancun Lagoon, Mayday, Dragon’s Lair – inside Broadway at the Beach, and Jurassic Golf. South of Lakewood Campground, you will find Adventure Falls, Runaway Bay, Gilligan’s Island, and Inlet Adventure.

Tupelo Bay Golf is a wonderful option for a par 3 if you’re interested in having some fun with still a bit of a challenge. If you’re trying to take the game a bit more seriously you will find loads of executive courses in the area such as: River Oaks Golf Plantation, World Tour Golf Links, Whispering Pines, Indigo Creek, Indian Wells, The Witch, Legends, Burning Ridge, Azalea Sands, Founder’s Club, Myrtlewood Golf Club, Man O’ War, Caledonia Golf & Fish Club, just to name a few.
